“Because he himself suffered when he was tempted, he is able to help those who are being tempted.”

For those of us who are Christians, we have help. We are not left to struggle with any sin or temptation on our own. Because Jesus has suffered and experienced temptation as the physical man He was, He is able to offer help to us who are tempted. Let us take confidence in this truth that God does not have such high standards apart from Him enabling us to meet them. In other words, not only does God call us to a high level of life, but He also equips us to live that high life. So, it is all God’s work from start to finish. Let us not forget that and never cease to bring Him the glory He is due.
