For those of you who don’t know, there was a tragedy this last May in the family of Christian singer Steven Curtis Chapman. His beautiful little daughter Maria was accidentally killed in their family driveway by her 17 year-old brother while he was driving. Personally, I cannot fathom the grief and pain they as a family must be facing. But they persevere, not because they are stellar people with inherent strength, but because the God they believe in gives them peace and comfort. I’d urge all of you reading this to pray for their family, and please watch the interview of them below to be encouraged and inspired:
I’m convinced, as they are, that they are able to make it through it all because of the grace of God and the immeasurable hope as a result of that. May God be glorified through this testimony in the lives of the many who will watch this story! Share it with friends and neighbors!
