What does it mean to “know God” and be “saved”? That’s a question often asked by many people in our world today, and recently asked by some friends of mine at a local Bible Study. The answer to this common question is contained in what God has said in His Word. To get a complete & full answer, one needs to consult many passages throughout the Scriptures. But, as a friend of mine & I were thinking & praying to try and find a passage to lead on for this local Bible Study, we came across John 3:1-21 and knew this was the one to go over with the group.

To many of you, John 3:16 is well-known; you’ve heard it from a ton of sources while growing up. But do you really have a grasp of the true meaning of this passage and the context it’s in? By reading what Jesus says in the context surrounding this famous verse & some commentary, I hope you’ll get a better answer to this common question! Please give this Bible Study a read by clicking the link below, and then come back here & leave a comment on what you thought of the study!
